For most cases tripod with rotating head/phone holder is better option, it will be most stable and you can put it anywhere, to any height.
This octopus tripod is mostly good for travel (it's small) and putting camera to weird places (wrap around branch of a tree, between some rocks, etc.) when you don't have anything better with you like big tripod or there is nowhere to put it. But in your room it's not going to be that useful.
I was just saying that sometimes even small stands are useful to have for lights and such.

I have two degrees, one in CIS and my most recent in Mechanical Engineering, but the job economy in and near my hometown was/is near non existent so I decided to move pretty far away to work for a startup that seemed promising and was recommended to me by my Uni, in a town that seemed to have future opportunities in my field.
Problem was that this place is very expensive to live at (not cali or ny expensive, but not too far off) so I decided to live in a small town that was nearby the city I was going to work in that seemed nice enough, and was way more affordable.
5 months into working for the startup, it goes bankrupt because the owners are in over their heads and don't actually know what they're doing, main owner actually admits to me in private that he just watched youtube videos about business and decided to quit his job in sales and marketing at IBM to make startup.
So since then I've been working whatever jobs I can find, mostly delivery apps because they pay better than most hourly jobs anyway, but its been hard to find a new job in my field and I'm kinda stuck out in the middle of nowhere, so finding people to sex isn't really possible lol
I also come from a super broken home and I've ex communicated from my family a long time ago. All my friends moved out of state a long time ago, so I'm out here all by myself
